Cinnamon Café

As you may know, I have taken over the Cinnamon Cafe at George Child Welfare's and Sikelela Centre, with the aim of getting it up and running and then training a few of the ladies working there to run the business and eventually take it over as their own.

However, with the winter chills, we have been dead quiet!  The menu is not big, we do breakfast, toasted sandwiches, salads, muffins, and then a meal of the day that changes every day, and a cake of the day (today is lemon meringue).  We also have a selection of yummy soups for the winter!  We stock jams and chocolate brownies to take-away, and want to expand this range as well.  Our hot chocolate is to die for!

We would love to increase our menu, but with so few customers, it is difficult to keep lots of fresh ingredients, but if you have any suggestions, please let us know!

I wish to appeal to you to please make an effort to visit us, and come and see what we do - I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised by the ambieance, even though it is a little out of the way!

We also do meetings and group breakfast/lunches up to 30 people, so please consider us for your next get-together.  If you cannot make it to us, we will be thrilled to cater platters and bring them to you!
